For centuries, humanity has been aware of the unique and miraculous properties of orange berries. To this day, this medicinal plant is widely used in both medicine and cosmetology.
The cosmetic oil “Sea Buckthorn” by the Ukrainian brand “Aromatika” enhances skin tone, firmness, and elasticity, smooths out wrinkles, moisturizes, and nourishes with vital nutrients. This product is also perfect for those combating skin pigmentation issues, for example, those wishing to lighten freckles.
Sea Buckthorn oil also serves as a healing agent – it improves the skin's condition after burns, cuts, and wounds. The vitamins included in the composition of sea buckthorn oil also have a beneficial effect, moisturizing, increasing elasticity and firmness, contributing to the youth and beauty of the skin.
Dressings. On the skin surface previously cleaned of necrotic tissues (using antiseptic solutions), apply pure sea buckthorn oil and cover with a cotton-gauze dressing. Change the dressing every other day. Inhalations. Conduct for 15 minutes daily, the treatment course is 8–10 sessions.
Tamponade. Mucous membranes previously cleaned are first coated with a tampon soaked in sea buckthorn oil (5–10 ml per tampon), then the tampon is inserted and left in the cavity. Change tampons daily. The treatment course for colpitis is 10–15 procedures, for endocervicitis and cervical erosions is 8–12 procedures. If necessary, repeat the treatment course after 4–6 weeks.
Hair Mask. Add 3 tablespoons of sea buckthorn oil to 10 ml of shampoo, you can also add 1 tablespoon of walnut oil. Apply the mixture to the scalp, comb the hair thoroughly, and wrap with plastic film, then cover with a towel. After 30–50 minutes, wash your head with shampoo.
Anti-inflammatory Face Mask. Mix 1 heaped tablespoon of bran or ground wheat grains with 1 teaspoon of sea buckthorn oil and 1 teaspoon of walnut oil. Apply the mixture to the face. After 30 minutes, rinse with warm water.
Oil for Aging Skin. To 1 tablespoon of sea buckthorn oil, add 3 drops each of cypress, patchouli, and neroli essential oils. Apply the mixture to cleansed facial skin daily, preferably at night. Care for Lips and Skin Around the Eyes. Use pure sea buckthorn oil to moisturize eyelids, lips, and the skin around the eyes. Remove excess oil with a tissue.
This is a very good oil that heals scratches, cuts, and pimples, and soothes them. It is non-comedogenic. However, be careful when applying it because it is orange in color, so to avoid staining clothes and surrounding objects, apply it cautiously.
I was advised to apply a few drops under my eyes at night in order to look as fresh as a cucumber in the morning. It's as if the oil itself turns tired women into cucumbers. But we all believe in quick miracles, and I believed it too. I started applying it, but it turned out to be very orange. And everything around me also became very orange: pillows, sheets, even my husband. The puffiness under my eyes didn't go away, only the color changed. And let me tell you, that doesn't meet my beauty standards.
The oil is not to blame. It's actually very beneficial, and it's good to use as part of some complex mask. But it requires time. And brains.
