Dull Hair Shampoo Kerastase Elixir Ultime Le Bain

I have curly, porous, uncolored hair that often looks dull. I wanted some shine and decided to try this series. The shampoo is quite average for me. It didn't add any special shine, and on the days I use this shampoo, my scalp feels slightly itchy. I use it in combination with the mask from this series, and the mask is also average. It makes my hair too soft and fluffy, and for some reason, it gives the impression of being lighter. Maybe if your hair has a dense texture and is stiff, it would suit you better and have some special effect. The scent of the shampoo is honey and flowers, but it doesn't really appeal to my sense of smell.

I really liked this shampoo. My hair is normal in length, slightly oily at the roots, and I usually wash it every other day. The shampoo lathers well and rinses out quickly. It has a very pleasant perfumed scent. My hair shines after using this shampoo. It does not cause dandruff or scalp irritation.

The shampoo is good, it gives shine, but you can't use it frequently as it makes the skin greasy. The shampoo runs out quickly.

I really love Kérastase, and this shampoo is absolutely amazing. The scent is very cool, and it leaves my hair soft. I alternate using it with the Chronologist shampoo.

I have tried various shampoos from this brand, but I always come back to Elixir Ultime. I also like the black one, and the oils are my favorite.

Terrible shampoo. This is my first encounter with this brand - and it's a complete disappointment. I can't say that I was expecting something "wow". But not such a horror.

It foams like fairy (the foam rises, there is nothing special to wash the head with), at the same time it tangles the hair so much during washing at the roots that it's simply impossible to wash the scalp. I couldn't comb my hair without a mask and conditioner.

I have tried many different shampoos, and I didn't expect that such a hyped product could be bad.

The texture is light, it absorbs well, and the hair feels soft and pleasant to touch throughout its length. I have oily roots and dry ends, and my hair looks clean for about a day, which is very good for my hair. Therefore, the shampoo effectively cleanses the scalp.

The shampoo is excellent! When paired with the oil from this series, it works wonders on my colored, thin hair. After using it, my hair shines and feels soft and voluminous. I will definitely be buying more!

Amazing shampoo! I have natural straight shoulder-length hair that is slightly damaged at the ends. My hair shines incredibly after using this shampoo, it becomes more voluminous, and the effect lasts for three days. However, this shampoo tends to dry out even my natural hair, so it is necessary to use a hair mask or oil on the ends afterwards. I don't think it would be suitable for blondes with dyed hair as it can be drying.

I liked the shampoo: it cleans well, and my hair doesn't get tangled or dry after using it. However, I have to wash my hair every day, even though with other shampoos, I never wash it more than every 2-3 days. My hair isn't particularly dull, but there is no effect from the shampoo, except for having a clean head throughout the day. I have never dyed my hair - maybe it will be better for colored hair.

Nothing happens. It simply cleanses the hair. Even with conditioner, the hair remains dry after using it. A shampoo should "just cleanse," but BES and REDKEN do a much better job at this (making the hair soft and silky), and they are cheaper.

The shampoo is excellent. I have long, dyed hair that is very dry. I couldn't comb it without oil. After my vacation, my hair was in terrible condition. I bought this shampoo and my hair became very manageable, soft, and lively.

Once a week, I use a mask from the green series to restore my hair.

For the best effect, it is definitely worth getting a hair trim and/or cutting split ends. I also use heat protection (from another brand), it's necessary.

The shampoo usage is optimal, one bottle lasts for more than 3-4 months for long hair. I will definitely buy it again.

The shampoo is decent, but in my opinion, nothing special. I really don't like the smell, it's similar to grandma's old perfume or powder...

But the biggest inconvenience is, oddly enough, the cap. In an age where everyone is trying to make the customer's life easier, Kerastase has a removable cap that needs to be twisted several times (I have a shower cabin and not many surfaces, so when I use the shampoo, I have to skillfully close the bottle with the hand that has the shampoo poured into it, and often it starts to leak, resulting in wastage. Overall, it's not critical of course, but it does cause unpleasant feelings every time I use it. Something like that.)

This is my absolute favorite shampoo. After using it, my hair becomes loose, soft, and unbelievably shiny. The scent is a whole separate story.

This is not the first time I purchase shampoo from this brand. It suits me perfectly. I definitely recommend it!

I have tested this shampoo and hair oil from the same line. However, I am currently using a conditioner from a different brand. Overall, I am satisfied and will continue using it. Next, I plan to test the conditioner and hair mask. The shampoo cleanses well, and with my normal scalp, my hair looks normal for about three days. However, for those with oily scalps, more frequent washing may be necessary.

In terms of usage, it's normal - a 250ml bottle lasted me about a month and a half. This is with daily washing of my bangs and overall hair washing every three to four days. It did not cause dandruff or any adverse reactions, even though I switched to it from a sulfate-free organic shampoo.

I have natural porous and thick hair that tends to frizz in all directions. Overall, after using the shampoo + conditioner (from a different brand) + oil on towel-dried hair, my hair looks well-maintained and shiny.

On the downside, it has a fairly strong and long-lasting scent. I wouldn't say it's unpleasant or overpowering, but I prefer less intrusive fragrances.

The packaging is pleasant and convenient - easy to open, close, and squeeze out the shampoo.

But overall, if you look at it without additional care and have normal, undamaged hair, this shampoo is just like any other shampoo. I've always believed that shampoo is simply for cleansing and it's foolish to expect miracles from it. I believe that the most effective hair care is when all the products in the same line are used together. Perhaps there is some synergy in the ingredients.

Great shampoo. My hair feels incredibly smooth after using it. I don't even need to style it, as the little frizzy hairs stay in place. And the scent... DIVINE. It honestly smells like expensive, high-quality perfume. My hair is fully moisturized, 100%. I will definitely be buying more. I have tried around 8 different Kerastase shampoos, and this one is definitely in my top 3.

I have a whole range of Kerastase products at home, and they are all fantastic. Specifically, this shampoo does a great job of moisturizing the hair and has a divine scent.

This is the best thing that happened to my hair. I use this specific series once every two weeks, to prevent my hair from getting used to it. It feels like after a salon treatment. The only thing I regret is that there is no 500ml volume option available.
