After a few hours, it starts to shine and leaves marks on clothing.
The foundation changes color and darkens as it dries! It has good staying power, a matte finish, and doesn't settle into wrinkles.
The shade 1.5N does not suit fair skin well, as it oxidizes heavily and becomes dark. It is better to opt for 1N. Additionally, I was not impressed with the cream itself as it accentuates all imperfections, giving a mask-like effect.
This foundation has greatly disappointed me. Perhaps it is suitable for oily skin, but not for combination skin. After using it, my face broke out in acne. It could be a peculiar reaction of my skin, but this is the first foundation that has caused me to break out.
I didn't buy it here. I got shade 1.5. I must say, this is my first Dior foundation and it looks beautiful, with a matte velvet finish. However, it does oxidize a little bit. It's slightly too dark for my winter complexion, but I think the transition between my neck and face won't be noticeable because of the sweaters I'll be wearing. Overall, I believe that for the price, it shouldn't oxidize)))))))
I used to really love this foundation. However, after they changed the formula, it started to horribly dry out my skin and my favorite shade became darker than it used to be. They ruined a wonderful product ((((
I purchased this product from a well-known cosmetics store. I got the shade 1n. Considering the price, this is the worst foundation I have ever used; it's no better than the cheap Maybelline foundation I used in my student days. It doesn't hide redness, emphasizes any bumps on my skin, and most importantly, I believe it clogs my pores as I have developed deep and painful cystic acne on my chin. I rate this foundation a 3 out of 5, considering its price and reputation. If it were a cheap drugstore brand, I would give it a 4 for coverage. However, the fact that it worsens my acne makes it unacceptable.
My rating is 4. I have no problems with application, it spreads excellently when applied with a brush. However, keep in mind that the shade oxidizes, so it's better to choose a shade lighter. The coverage is good, and the finish is beautiful.
Hello everyone! I debated for quite some time whether to buy this foundation, as the reviews were conflicting. I myself have oily skin and I also have clients with the same issue. Right from the start, I noticed the smell of alcohol, which is quite noticeable for a couple of seconds. I apply this foundation with my fingers, and the distribution is excellent (I also use a brush with my clients, and I have no complaints). It doesn't oxidize on me, which pleased me, and I don't get any patches on my skin throughout the day. I ordered shade 1N, and it blends perfectly with my skin. However, now it's mid-June and my skin is already tanned (pay attention to this). My forehead and T-zone are extremely oily, and the foundation lasts for about 2-3 hours on these areas. After 9-10 hours on my oily skin, it starts to separate and my skin becomes shiny (but the day was quite hot, around 23-25°C). I haven't received any complaints from my clients. In defense of the foundation, I can say that even on oily and porous skin, it looks expensive, doesn't settle into pores, and doesn't emphasize wrinkles. I won't give it a full star for its longevity and the fact that my T-zone shines after only 2-3 hours, but I think it doesn't fully live up to its claimed qualities. Definitely, I will look for another, more long-lasting foundation for myself. However, I do want to try shade 0N in a different case. I also want to mention that I managed to buy this foundation on sale here, so the price equals the quality. But I wouldn't buy it at full price.
When choosing a shade, it's important to consider that one of the lightest tones, 1N, turned out to be quite dark, even though I'm not extremely fair-skinned! It oxidized on my skin and resulted in an orange mask, despite the letter N indicating a neutral undertone. The shade itself is not bad, and I'll wear it in the summer when I have a tan. However, it doesn't stay matte on my oily skin and starts to shine in the T-zone after just an hour. For the price, there are better options available, and I won't be purchasing it again. I'm disappointed.
I am disappointed with Dior. This is not a reissue of my favorite Diorskin Forever Perfect Makeup Everlasting Wear Pore-Refining Effect. It is a completely different product, and as always, it is worse than its predecessor. It dries out the skin and accentuates all imperfections. It clogs pores and fine lines, making them more visible. Perhaps it would be suitable for very oily and young skin, but it's not guaranteed. It is not suitable for combination skin, let alone dry skin. It may cover redness, but it strongly emphasizes texture and any unevenness. It is long-lasting and has a dull matte powdery finish. It oxidizes heavily, and the darker the shade, the stronger the oxidation. I will not purchase it again.
Girls, don't buy it! The light shade with a hint of pink looks like a dark one with a yellowish tint. The foundation oxidizes heavily and accentuates flakiness. I expected more for this price. Dior has disappointed me.
The skin looks really great, not dull matte, but alive, with a blurring effect. It should be applied quickly, in sections, not all at once. It oxidizes a bit on me.. And the saddest part is that due to the alcohol in the 3rd ingredient, I had a flare-up of perioral dermatitis.. Be careful if you have sensitive skin.. By the way, the glow version also has alcohol as the 3rd ingredient, but it looks amazing on the skin.. Now I need to sell it, it doesn't suit me.
My favorite foundation. It feels comfortable on my skin both in summer and winter. It is not noticeable on the face. It stays on perfectly throughout the day and adjusts well to my skin tone. I usually buy it from a different store during sales.
This is a very good foundation for combination skin. It applies perfectly on top of a lightweight moisturizer. It is easy and quick to apply, without any difficulties, you can even use your fingers. I have fair skin and shade 1 CR suits me perfectly, but of course I didn't choose it online. For those who experience issues with this shade rolling off, it's worth paying attention to the products you use for skincare. This is crucial for achieving a smooth and flawless coverage.
I have shade 1N. I have fair skin, and this is the perfect shade for me. It is a true nude - a beige color without any noticeable undertones. It doesn't have any yellow or pinkish tones. It blends seamlessly with my skin, and you can't see any brush strokes when I blend it. It applies easily and evenly. The finish is matte, and it looks well-groomed without looking overly photoshopped. The coverage is medium, it doesn't completely cover imperfections. It is also suitable for summer, as it feels almost weightless on the skin and doesn't clog pores. It effortlessly removes with a hydrophilic oil cleanser. After 4 months, it hasn't oxidized and the color remained the same - thumbs up! I pair it with the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer in shade 0N from the same brand, and they look harmonious together.
The most beloved foundation. When applied correctly, it is invisible and adapts to the color of the skin.
The foundation is good! However, there are many nuances with the shades. I read in the comments that you should take a lighter shade and you should really consider that! I got 1.5 and thought it would be light, but no, it's the opposite! In terms of color, it falls into the category of "for fair skin with a week-long tan in the summer" and yet it's still a bit dark (I balance it out with a light powder), so if you want it to be very light, then go for 0. As someone mentioned before, it's not suitable for fair-skinned individuals.
My favorite foundation! I used to use Vichy before. Dior applies like a veil, with a delicate, matte texture. It doesn't dry out or shine. With this product, the skin looks fresh. The shade 2CR (previous shade was 022) doesn't change after application. I've been using it for several years (this is my first time buying it on Makeup). I highly recommend it!
Great product, worth the money. The only downside is that it might appear slightly yellowish on skin with a pink undertone.
