The Revlon Professional Revlonissimo Color Sublime Cream Oil Developer 25Vol, a 7.5% creamy oxidant, is a professional-grade product designed to facilitate high-quality and effective coloring rituals aimed at transforming grey strands or lightening hair by two shades.
This product features an oily base that seamlessly blends with the hair dye, creating a comfortable-to-apply emulsion that ensures even coverage of all strands. Its active formula protects the hair from the damaging effects of aggressive chemicals, maintains an optimal hydration balance of the locks, and endows them with dazzling shine, making the hairstyle even more striking.
How to use: Apply on dry hair.
Mixing ratio: 1:1 (XL service 75 ml + 75 ml = 150 ml) Cream Oil Developer - 15 vol (4.5%) for darkening, tone-on-tone, and up to 1 shade lighter 25 vol (7.5%) for coloring from 50% grey hair and up to 2 shades lighter - 35 vol (10.5%) for coloring up to 3 shades lighter* Note: for tone level 9 shades, use a 1:2 mixture if you aim for a lighter result with little to no grey hair. * - The degree of lightening always depends on the natural base and hair structure. PH of the mixture 10 – 11
Processing time: First application - natural hair. Apply along the entire length and ends of the hair. Leave for 15-20 minutes, then apply the mixture to the roots and leave for another 25-30 minutes. Total processing time - 50 minutes. For subsequent applications: Apply to the new hair growth at the roots for 20-30 minutes, then distribute through the length and leave for an additional 5-10 minutes with a small amount of developer. Total processing time - 40 minutes. For grey and hard-to-color hair: increase the processing time by 10 minutes.
Emulsification and rinsing: At the end of the coloring process, emulsify and gradually add warm water, thoroughly rinsing the hair and scalp (until the water runs clear).
The powder from another brand did not work (only certain strands), barely lightened, and I was afraid to leave it on for too long. However, with this brand's own powder, gradual lightening started after 15 minutes. It does not dry out the hair.
