Etat Libre d'Orange Don't Get Me Wrong Baby, Yes I Do - Eau de Parfum
I have read a lot about this fragrance, and that it is not long-lasting, and that it only smells like flowers and is boring... But that is not the case at all. Of course, personal perception cannot be dismissed. The thing is, it is very similar in character to Tiziana Terenzi White Fire, which some also accuse of being weak and flat. But, like White Fire, this fragrance is subtle and not overpowering, it doesn't bother anyone, but it is definitely there and how! Even after washing with soap, it remains, definitely has a trail, which is light and truly expensive. On me, it fully reveals itself, even without aging after purchase - it is dense, warm, sweet (moderately), soft, so pleasant... It is not a gourmand scent, as some might think due to the cocoa note with pear, they only deepen and soften the floral fragrance. But it's not just flowers, it's deeper. My skin immediately brings out the base notes, and oh my... why did I get 50ml, I want 100ml, for sure. Considering that I am not a big fan of floral scents, I do adore one - White Fire, and now Yes I Do is on the same level for me - so calm, so pleasant, and truly beautiful. By the way, it doesn't sound natural, which is fortunate for me, but it is of high quality, and you can immediately feel it. It is complex, but it never overshadows the entire space. It is one of those fragrances that complements us, rather than the other way around.
