The last time I purchased this hair dye was in the old design and composition. Back then, the shade 5.1 was almost black. I got it in the new design, along with a 4.5% activator. The color is no longer dark, it is ash-brown as it should be. It also washes out well, not like an icicle in oil (as mentioned below). It covers gray hair well.
The paint is good, but it doesn't match the provided palette. Instead of a fiery red, it turned me into a brown-ashy shade with a slight hint of red (((( The color is 7.34. Redheads, be careful!!!! This is not a red blonde!!!!
This is a great hair dye that effectively covers gray hair. Finally, I have found one after trying hundreds of different brands, including professional, organic, and natural ones. It doesn't wash out into a red or light shade. I have a beautiful 5.1 shade, and it doesn't fade from my gray hair.
The paint is decent, but far from perfect. I used the color 8.12, with a 7.5 oxidizer for the roots and a level 3 activator for the length. My hair has about 30-40% gray, with the roots at level 8 and the length highlighted. I only needed one tube of paint for hair down to my waist. In the end, it evened out the color and initially covered the gray almost completely, but after 2 months, the paint washed out completely from the natural hair and gray. It holds well on the highlighted strands, resulting in a practically uniform color because I matched my natural shade.
Why I won't be using it again: The paint washes out quickly and my hair became stiffer, not even an moisturizing mask helps.
Excellent paint. No other budget ammonia-free dyes can compare to it. After trying it and then switching to a cheaper option like L'Oréal, I felt a huge difference. The hair is completely different, softer, more pleasant, like night and day in terms of sensation.
The paint is amazing. Hair is restored and thickened. They become healthier, denser, and more elastic. It works very well for sensitive skin.
This is a very good hair dye (shade 3). It doesn't have a harsh smell, and personally, it doesn't irritate my skin. I have bought it multiple times before. After using it, my hair looks shiny, voluminous, and has a rich color that lasts a long time. I touch up my roots every 2-3 weeks because of the appearance of gray hair, and this dye handles it excellently.
