I really liked it. The powder is light, transparent, and gives a subtle glow to the skin.
I didn't quite understand this powder and what it's for.
1. The presence of shimmer. It is quite noticeable on the face. Yes, you won't look like a Christmas tree, but when you see these individual glitters all over your face in certain lighting, it looks strange. Using it as a highlighter is also not ideal because the highlighting effect is very subtle, and I believe a highlighter should provide an even glow, not just individual glitters.
2. Makeup setting. I have normal skin that tends to be dry, so I don't really need super strong setting. I rarely use powders in general. But when I do, I expect my makeup to stay fresh from early morning to late evening. With this powder... after 4-5 hours, my makeup doesn't look as fresh as I expected. In fact, it looks worse than without powder, at least that's how it seemed to me. I usually avoid mattifying face products, except for blush. This powder doesn't mattify at all, which is a plus for me, but it doesn't provide the main thing - proper setting. Initially, it removes the residual stickiness from the foundation, but this effect quickly fades.
3. Scent. I was always puzzled when girls in their reviews described the scent as "grandma's cosmetics." I thought, "What is that? How should 'grandma's' cosmetics smell?" So, when I first (and then second, and third) opened this powder jar, the first association that came to mind was a very old granny, and everything fell into place. Now I definitely know how grandma's cosmetics smell. The scent is awful. You can tolerate it, but it's very specific. I don't even know what else can smell like this - mothballs or something?
4. Color. The color of the powder is a light pink. I saw this in reviews, but I didn't expect this color to be visible on the face. I mean, you can't see the powder itself, it blends well on the face and doesn't look like flour. But the face turns pink, like a piglet. And if you add blush on top of it... you can imagine what it looks like. I have very fair skin, so when I choose foundation, it's always the lightest shade in the range. In some brands, like Bourjois, I can't even buy foundation because their lightest shades are either too dark or too yellow for me. Perhaps the problem lies precisely in this, and girls with darker skin tones than mine won't have this issue.
On the positive side, it's pleasant to use the powder, if you don't pay too much attention to the downsides.
This powder is great, it works as an under-eye setting powder as well, but it also provides a noticeable highlight. Sometimes, this kind of effect is exactly what I need, so I will continue using it both as a finishing powder and a subtle highlighter. The beautiful tiny shimmering particles are not glittery at all, and they have a lovely pinkish color, not yellow or white. I am satisfied, although at first, when I opened it, I was surprised by how shiny it was.
My favorite and familiar scent of bourgeois products, which personally, I really love.
The powder is extremely amazing, it has a pleasant color and fulfills all its functions, and the shimmer of glitter is something incredible.
I decided to save money and bought a different product instead of Guerlain. These two products are not similar at all, especially if you were used to using Guerlain before. The scent, in my opinion, is too reminiscent of my grandmother's cosmetics. Even my husband asked, "Why does your face smell like that?" Unfortunately, I had to open the powder in the hopes of airing it out. If that doesn't work, I won't be using it. Considering the weight of the product and its price, it turns out to be not very cheap.
This powder is really nice. It gives a rosy shimmer and has a very pleasant scent.
I really liked this powder. It has a beautiful glowing effect that makes my face appear radiant from within. However, if you're looking for a mattifying powder, this one may not be suitable for you. The scent is quite unique, resembling the fragrance of Grandma's cosmetics, but it doesn't bother me personally.
The scent is strong and it shines like a lightweight highlighter.
Lightweight, shimmering, and with a universal color that suits everyone. The scent is retro and aesthetic. Thank you for the fast delivery!
This product is amazing, the effect is similar to Guerlain's Meteorites! The delivery was excellent.
