I have never had a worse pencil. The first time I sharpened it, it made a crunching sound and I thought it would break apart, but it eventually sharpened with difficulty. The second time I sharpened it, it again made a terrifying crunching sound and as a result, the pencil split into two halves in my hands. I have been using different pencils for over 10 years, and this has never happened before. Draw your own conclusions about whether you need such a pencil.
