Ascorbyl glucoside is a water-soluble, glucose-stabilized form of vitamin C. It retains all the beneficial properties for the skin of vitamin C while remaining stable against high temperatures, light, heating, and oxidative actions. Additionally, it dissolves in water 1.5 times better than other vitamin C derivatives. Upon application to the skin, AA2G is broken down by the enzyme alpha-glucosidase, resulting in the gradual release of vitamin C. This ensures a long-lasting effect that continues for more than 5 days after application. Thanks to its prolonged action, AA2G promotes extended collagen stimulation, protects the skin from UV radiation, aids in suppressing melanin synthesis and lightening existing melanin, affecting only pigmented areas of the skin without lightening the surrounding skin. Moreover, the product helps reduce wrinkles and smoothes the skin. The mask normalizes melanin production and reduces pigmentation of any kind, leading to a neat and natural skin lightening.
