The shampoo does not contain sulfates, and the foaming base is very gentle, making the shampoo incredibly delicate - with a pearly cream consistency, it forms a fine lather, effectively cleanses, and rinses out without tangling the hair, leaving it smooth and almost like conditioned. The scent is pleasantly salon-like and floral, with a traditional touch. The formula includes a signature complex of moisturizers, amino acids, keratin, and antioxidant white tea extract, as well as a blend of polymers/silicones - I believe all of these ingredients work together to repair damaged hair and provide smoothness, shine, and elasticity. After using, my hair feels extremely soft and pleasant to the touch, without any dryness, and it retains moisture well, preventing frizz and flyaways. Both the shampoo and conditioner were a perfect fit for me.
