I was really disappointed... The smell is too sharp and stuffy, like an old grandmother's dresser... no, rather like a grandfather's. Even the cream soap Fax smells much nicer, and there are 5 pieces in a pack for the same price, compared to just one of this Dav soap.

The soap has an Eastern aroma, but it's not quite there. It's as if it wasn't fully scented. I personally enjoy Eastern scents, so I can tolerate the smell of the soap. However, not everyone may like the scent on their hands... Also, I'm not sure how it affects others, but it does dry out my skin. I only use it to wash my hands. Because of this dryness, I'm deducting stars from this soap. It's a shame.

I absolutely love the entire line of Dove soap, but this soap in particular is my favorite! The scent is perfect for those who enjoy oriental, chypre, and powdery fragrances. My son and husband also really like the scent. Today, my order of 6 boxes of this wonderful soap arrived and I am now placing them around the house in cabinets for a lovely aroma. The soap is amazing; it doesn't dry out my skin and has a pleasant scent that combines the classic aroma of a bar soap with hints of exotic fragrances, reminiscent of a luxury hotel. I always buy a large quantity of it and use it everywhere to spread the delightful fragrance.

I have been using Dove soap regularly for probably over 10 years now. I use it to cleanse my face in the morning and evening. It doesn't dry out my skin, and I can even skip using moisturizer. The scent is truly reminiscent of expensive perfumes.

The soap bar is very dense and maintains its shape well, without becoming mushy in the soap dish. The lather is thick and oily. In my opinion, this is a very successful new product from Dove in 2016.
