Lip Balm - Artdeco Color Booster Lip Balm
I ordered it in the nude color, which looks really nice. However, the balm doesn't moisturize my lips much.
Budget replacement for Dior balm and a more convenient alternative to Sisters Aroma jar. It shows up on the lips as a Barbie-pink shade, which I find pleasant and not too bright. Yes, it does dry out the lips, but so do the two previous products I've tried, so I use all three as a decorative item rather than for care - I still need a regular balm on top. This is my impression - for 350 UAH, it's a great product. And now my mother's impression - it doesn't dry her lips and she likes everything about it. She says it's the best product she has ever used and she has finished one in half a year, now she's asking me to buy her the next one. In conclusion, if you have the money, go for Dior. If you have around 400 UAH, it's better to buy this one instead of the embarrassing Sisters Aroma.
This product is extremely drying on the lips.
The stylish silver metal case is secure and scratch-resistant, ensuring that it won't accidentally open or get damaged in your bag. The beautiful Nude color complements brown tones in makeup. It delicately moisturizes the lips while providing good tint (I found it enjoyable to apply when I know I'll be eating or drinking, as it doesn't leave pale lips or color on the rim of glasses).
However, it does require moisturizing the lips beforehand, as it functions more like a balm than a lipstick. I've read comments comparing it to Dior, but personally, I don't find it to be the same. Artdeko noticeably dries out the lips.
This is a great tinted balm. It's nice that even when the gloss fades, the color still remains on the lips, although it's not super long-lasting.
I have used the shades Pink and Nude. Pink gives a pink-raspberry tint to the lips, but not too bright. Nude makes my lips almost their natural color, just better. So they are still pink, but in a muted natural shade, not something light and pink like boosting pink.
It looks nice, but that's where all the positives end! It dries out my lips to the point of cracking, even after just one use! I bought two different shades at once, but it's impossible to use them.
I wanted to find some variety for my favorite Nivea lip balm, but instead I got almost the same thing, just for more money. It seems like this is just an individual problem with my natural skin color.
The texture of Artdeco is denser, it has a taste and scent of lipstick, gives better volume, and on the lips it looks like gloss, while Nivea is simply about moisturizing and a light shade. They seem different (Artdeco is "warmer"), but they look the same in the mirror. I don't want to give a bad rating because it is definitely a good, very lightweight lipstick, there are just cheaper alternatives available.
I am impressed with the quality, and I really liked it as it adds a subtle color and moisturizes. The appearance of my lips after using it is very nice and natural (I have the nude shade).
It's unclear why there is no description, so people are disappointed. This is a tint. After applying it on the lips, the color appears and stays even if you rub off the balm. Some people specifically expect this effect. For example, I used the shade "rose" completely, it gave the effect of natural lips, a pretty bright red-pink. And now I bought "Rose", it's a gently cool pink. It stays on the lips for 3-4 hours. In terms of texture, it is lighter than lipstick, with a pleasant scent. It didn't dry out my lips, even when I applied it without gloss. For comparison, a tint balm from Mac was very drying on the lips (and the price is much higher). A life hack to achieve a glossy effect for the lips is to apply the tint on top of the colorless gloss from Eveline Gloss Magic Lip Lacquer (20).
With all due respect, the shine is not that great. It enhances the color of the lips, yes, BUT it doesn't moisturize at all, instead it dries out the lips. The price-quality ratio is zero. It would be better to buy a lipstick that matches the color of your lips and then apply a lip gloss.
Boosting Pink is not really a lip balm. It's more of a tint because the raspberry pigmentation shows up and stays with you for a long time. You don't get that feeling of lightness that you get after using a lip balm. However, the product is cool.
As for the downsides of this shade:
- You won't get a balm.
- You need to be careful with the product (don't twist too much, as it tends to melt and break).
- The "aftertaste" is not very pleasant.
On the plus side:
- Nice packaging.
- Long-lasting pigmentation.
I will try other colors, maybe I will like them more.
I purchased the boosting pink shade. After applying it, my lips become a vibrant raspberry color. However, after an hour, it tends to dry out my lips.
This was my spontaneous purchase, and I regret not reading reviews first. I have the Boosting Pink shade, and as the other ladies have mentioned, it changes the color on my lips to a vibrant raspberry hue. Interestingly, if applied overnight, you'll wake up with a bold raspberry lip shade, similar to a tint. Personally, this doesn't suit me at all, even though the lip balm's quality is good.
I bought it on sale for 299 UAH. It's worth every penny, feels pleasant on the lips, and gives a light shade. No complaints at all. The packaging is also beautiful.
I was expecting a colorless product, so I chose the boosting pink shade, thinking it would look transparent. However, after a minute, a raspberry pigment appears on the lips.

Great lip balm. I hesitated for a long time, but decided to buy it after reading the positive comments. It moisturizes well and heals any cracks on the lips. I bought both shades 08 and 04, and they both suit me with a hint of pink. Shade 04 is more cherry-toned and looks really nice. Just a note, the same shade may appear different on different girls depending on their natural lip color. I'm very grateful to the store for their promptness and quality of service! The lip balm is semi-transparent and comfortable on the lips, hardly sticky at all. The scent is very light: I can feel a hint of mint, pleasant but not overpowering. I have the rose color, which is natural but leans more towards a cool pink. For those who prefer a more brownish shade, the nude option should be chosen. It provides hydration. In terms of quality, it reminds me of Dior lip balm.

THE PRICE DOES NOT MATCH THE QUALITY.
The color is vibrant and shiny, and it lasts for a long time unlike lip gloss. However, for some reason, it tends to dry out my lips.

1. Lips don't feel too greasy after applying.
2. Leaves a pleasant shade.
3. Not suitable for extremely dry or cracked lips. It provides pure hydration, but nothing more.

This is exactly the result I see on my lips when using 08 NUDE - a pleasant non-lacquer shine and enhancement of my natural shade.
Wonderful balm that is gentle on the lips and provides great moisturization. The booster lip has a subtle shade that is barely noticeable, but adds a touch of color. It is a great alternative to expensive products.
So far, this is the best lip balm I have tried among all the ones I have tested.
Simply the best lip product! It feels pleasant on the lips and provides a nice color (I personally love how the boosting pink shade shows up). The shade stays on the lips for a long time without drying them out. I was choosing between a similar product from Givenchy and a more affordable one from Artdeco, and I am happy with my choice.
