Montale Aoud Leather Eau de Parfum

The longevity is just like any other Montale fragrance! It lasts a very long time, but the scent is disappointing. I bought it without hesitation, thinking it would have a luxurious leather smell!!! But ladies, all I can smell is an earthy scent, no leather at all (((

The longevity of this product is excellent, receiving a score of 5+. However, I personally did not like the scent as I find it more suitable for men, given its strong, leather-like smell, reminiscent of plastic even. In my opinion, there are more feminine fragrances available for women.

Today I wore this fragrance and oh my, it's something else... A spicy sweet leather with a touch of delicate woodiness. My husband really loves it on me.

Let me describe how it actually smells on me. In the spring, it has a leathery scent (it is mentioned exactly like this on the official website), very complementary! However, in the summer and winter, it becomes a strong green cardamom, which strangely remains as the final note, with no hint of pepper! I wouldn't wear it to work or business meetings, because - believe it or not - it smells like marijuana. I'm not joking. But in the spring, it sounds great, rich and luxurious, with no suggestive undertones!

I purchased this water without testing it, solely relying on reviews and my intuition, as I prefer non-floral scents. I want to say that I liked the scent, although I had to wear it for a few days to understand it better. I am slightly missing a bit of bitterness, the scent is a bit soft, but pleasant. I will continue to search for something else, and my search will be focused on Montale. With the purchase of this water, I have discovered the amazing world of "Montale". I started my acquaintance with this fragrance from a sample and decided to get a larger version. It is a very successful combination of leather and oud. The leather note itself sounds subtly and not overpowering. I also, for some reason, sense fresh cucumbers, but not in a salad-like way, rather in a green and fresh manner. It is a pleasant addition. This is one of my favorite fragrances.
