Escentric Molecules Molecule 04 Eau de Toilette (tester without cap)

The presence of synthetic notes in perfumes, thanks to the Escentric Molecules brand, is a matter of pride and an area of unique expertise. In the fragrance Molecule 04, there is only one note—Javanol. This molecule was created in the laboratories of Givaudan in 1996.

The primary motif characterizing this perfume is its resemblance to sandalwood. Interestingly, it is not the dense, oriental, sweet, and foundational veil that is typically associated with natural oil. Initially, you will experience the persistence and sensuality, the soft glow, and the depth of sandalwood. But suddenly, it unveils gentle creamy tones, along with a surprising, almost psychedelic freshness. To the creator of the fragrance, it evokes "Liquid, metallic grapefruit zest, whose droplets sparkle on the velvety petals of creamy white roses." The perfume's formula is special in that it seems to dissolve seamlessly on the skin, only to reappear in new variations.
