Strong spirits and cigars—these words, printed on the signature label of the Jazz Club bottle, encapsulate the essence of the fragrance. To truly experience its vividness, imagine an evening in one of New York's old jazz clubs. Dim lighting, the melody of a saxophone and double bass, an intimate atmosphere filled with the dense scent of tobacco smoke mixed with rich, slightly sweet whiskey. The eau de toilette from Maison Martin Margiela has a sensual, rather soft and intoxicating presence, perfect for cold weather. Especially when you need to warm someone beside you. The magic of jazz, embodied in this fragrance, penetrates the soul and creates a feeling of warmth with a hint of nostalgia and relaxation—as if you're surrounded by old friends.
Top notes—a refreshing blend of lemon, neroli, and a hint of pink pepper—like a spark inviting you into the captivating world of jazz.
Heart notes recreate the sensation of the first sip of warming rum, enriched with the earthy tone of Javanese vetiver and the aroma of clary sage.
Base notes evoke the scent of cigars lazily smoldering in the hands of patrons. This is thanks to the woody-smoky accord of tobacco leaf and the cozy-sweet combination of vanilla with styrax.
I don't know what glitch I have, but it gave me a scent of coconut with whiskey and wood. It's a very warm and cozy smell. As for me, it's definitely unisex. Surprisingly, I didn't detect any tobacco, but I can smell dry vanilla. This perfume is interesting and unusual, and it's definitely worth testing on the skin.
At first, the scent seemed sharp, predominantly sharp tobacco. Perhaps it's because I didn't let it warm up and immediately started testing it from the cold. Later on, it began to unfold more multifacetedly. Sweet vanilla, leather, and alcoholic cocktails can be felt alongside the tobacco. In my opinion, it is not only for men but rather unisex. It is an interesting and non-trivial fragrance.
A beautiful warming composition. It smells like wood sawdust infused with whiskey. I can also detect a hint of pink pepper. It's not something I can wear every day, but it's perfect for chilly and windy weather.
