Golden Rose Make-Up Primer Mattifying & Pore Minimising Face Primer

I am just in shock! I tried it at my friend's place. My skin is oily and even luxury foundations couldn't control the shine, even with powder. It would appear within an hour. However, with this primer, I wore it for about 10 hours in the sun, and there was absolutely no sign of shine. This is definitely the discovery of the year for me.

This is my first primer, so there's nothing to compare it with. The foundation goes on better over the primer. However, it doesn't minimize pores and it doesn't add any lasting power to the foundation.

This primer has been my holy grail for a long time. I have combination skin with some dry patches, and my T-zone gets shiny just 5 minutes after applying makeup. I used this base, followed by foundation and set it with a translucent powder from Pupa. My face stayed matte even in hot weather for up to 5 hours. And on a regular day, my makeup looked flawless all day long.

The base is silicone-based and requires thorough cleansing in the evening. However, with proper skincare routine, my skin didn't worsen.

I tried different foundations of various price ranges and qualities on this base, and everything applied well.

What's noteworthy is that the base itself slightly smooths out the complexion.

My verdict is that the price-quality ratio is amazing.
