In 2016, renowned perfumer Quentin Bisch crafted an intriguing fragrance, Ambre Imperial, for the prestigious French brand Van Cleef & Arpels. This scent is perfectly suited for both men and women who are confident in their abilities and possess a distinct sense of taste. True perfume connoisseurs will appreciate the harmonious blend of ingredients.
Van Cleef & Arpels Ambre Imperial Eau de Parfum belongs to the amber and oriental fragrance families. Its aroma opens with the freshness of bergamot, accented by pink pepper and aromatic spices. At the heart of the composition, exquisite amber establishes a majestic note that lingers on the skin with base notes of tonka bean, vanilla, and wood.
The fragrance of the perfumed water is very cool, rich, and aristocratic. The bottle and cap are of good quality, but there is a problem with longevity. In warm weather, it disappears from the skin after 3-4 hours, while in cold weather, it lasts a little longer. It needs to be reapplied throughout the day. I don't think I received a fake product - this is a characteristic of Van Cleef. If you want something more long-lasting and with a trail, then this option is not for you.
A complex fragrance, it took me a while to understand it. At first, it smelled like my grandmother's drawer, medicine, and cheap candies. However, over time, it revealed itself as a creamy-vanilla amber. A luxurious scent. Not for everyone. Sometimes it seems more feminine, sometimes completely masculine. A hundred percent unisex. Just spraying it in the store is not enough, you need to understand it, wear it on different days and moods. Its longevity is decent.
This fragrance is absolutely stunning. As they say, it's "rich" in every sense. It may not be for everyone, so I highly recommend trying a sample first. Initially, I thought it was a masculine scent because it was described as "unisex," but I ended up falling in love with it.
Simply amazing. Very soft and truly regal amber. A hint of vanilla as well. The scent doesn't have a strong trail. It's just perfect for me. I recommend it to all lovers of amber fragrances for testing. Of course, blind buying may not be advisable, but there are samples and decanting culture. I love this brand. I will observe its longevity.
