For lovers of niche perfumes, the release of Diptyque Eau Des Sens Eau de Toilette was an immediate hit. Its allure lies in a delightful blend of citrusy freshness and warm, woody undertones. Perfect for both men and women, the fragrance is best suited for the warmer seasons of spring and summer, when fresh and vibrant aroma is most appreciated.
The olfactory pyramid of Diptyque Eau Des Sens:
Top notes open with a lovely infusion of orange blossom and bitter orange.
Heart notes bring forth the peppery-sweet accords of juniper, adding depth to the fresh and bright opening.
Base notes wrap up the composition with a duo of green, spicy angelica and earthy, herbal patchouli.
I purchased this fragrance out of curiosity and wanted to share my impressions. For me, it was love at first sniff, a moment of nostalgia. On me, it opened up with delicate, cozy, and not overpowering patchouli notes. However, when I tested it on my friend, it had a clearly masculine scent with a loud juniper note. It reminded me a lot of my once beloved Loewe Quizas, Quizas, Quizas. Definitely worth trying out.
