Shaving Soap with Menthol and Eucalyptus Proraso Green Shaving Soap

I am ordering this soap for the second time. I like it for its properties and technical characteristics. As for the format, there are supporters of cream in tubes, and there are those who prefer soap in a round box for convenience. I have used and still use both options. Compared to other shaving soaps from Proraso, this particular one, the green one, contains Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate. This substance releases formaldehydes (which are carcinogenic). The use of this substance is strictly regulated. According to Annex V of the EU cosmetic regulations, the amount should not exceed 0.1% in the composition. This ingredient is irritating and allergenic. Think twice before using it on your face. It's better to choose the red or white one instead :)

The soap is good, I have bought it for my husband not for the first time. It lasts a long time for its price. It lathers wonderfully and has a subtle scent. My husband is satisfied!

I tried the shaving soap from the green series for the first time. Before that, I used the shaving cream, lotion, and aftershave balm from the same series. Proraso is fantastic when it comes to shaving. You just need to find the series that suits your skin the best. I also bought the aloe series cream and balm.

Unfortunately, I couldn't detect any scent of eucalyptus or menthol. Instead, it reminded me more of the smell of household soap mixed with regular shaving gel. However, the soap lathers well and applies smoothly onto the face.

Good product! It lasted me for a year and 3 months. I also got the new one with shea butter for coarse bristles from the same series - it's even better! I highly recommend it to everyone. And if you also get PRORASO or OMEGA shaving creams, the shaving experience will be incredible!
