Tuba Lip Balm "Strawberry" Carmex Lip Balm

What can I say, I can't imagine myself without Carmex anymore. I buy it regularly and have tried the classic, cherry, and most recently, strawberry flavors. If you're not sure which one to choose, keep in mind that the classic one has a slightly medicinal taste on the lips, and it tingles a bit for me. That's why I prefer cherry or strawberry. They even taste sweet and are extremely comfortable on the lips. They provide moisturized lips and last quite a long time for me. They are transparent.

The smell is chemical-like and it doesn't smell like strawberries at all. As for the texture, it is just average.

Does not moisturize, did not help at all with very dry lips. I used to buy it in stick form, and when I applied it there were leftovers that saved my lips. Within two hours, they became moisturized, the dryness almost disappeared, and it does not sting like the tube version. Now I don't know what to do with it, I will try it again in the summer. But I won't buy it in the tube anymore.

The lip balm stings like some kind of menthol. Overall, I didn't like it at all, and it has absolutely no effect. I used to have a cherry one, and everything was great with that.

I used the cherry one before, and it really had that cooling sensation or menthol. Despite that, I really like Carmex, it has a pleasant taste and smell. And in the winter, it's amazing!

Moisturizes, and not bad. That is the only positive aspect. When exposed to body temperature (if carried in a pocket), it starts to "melt" and becomes like water! When it gets colder, it freezes and it's impossible to apply on the lips, it becomes like a film. I won't even mention the smell/taste. I haven't experienced anything worse!

Carmex moisturizes better than any other lip balm. The tube version gives a more vibrant effect of "wet lips" almost like lip gloss, but it doesn't last as long as the stick version. However, it has a larger volume. It is suitable for home use, when frequent application is not inconvenient.

Carmex is Carmex, even in Africa - I have ordered it more than once and so far it is the best I have tried. I give it 4 stars because I ordered the one with strawberry, but it only had a picture of strawberries on the tube, no actual strawberry flavor. 1 star for the cold feeling on the lips. Otherwise, while on the lips, it feels like they are even more exposed to the wind. It absorbs quickly, disappears quickly, does not moisturize, and if applied at night (which I usually do with regular lip balms), it doesn't fulfill its function at all. My friend also got it and had the same impression.

Girls, this is insane. I read the reviews, but despite the comments about the taste and smell of "rotten strawberries," I still decided to order it. I thought, maybe it's just hype. And oh my goodness, it's absolutely true. I don't understand what kind of terrible joke this is, but it really does taste and smell like spoiled strawberries. I do not recommend it!
