Made in: Switzerland The birth of a child is a wonderful experience, but during childbirth, women often encounter numerous unexpected risks. To fully protect yourself from tears, perform a massage of the intimate area using oil from the Swiss company Weleda.
This product enriches skin cells with vitamin E, as well as natural extracts and essential oils, promoting gradual relaxation of connective tissue and enhancing skin elasticity. It strengthens the skin, making it more resilient and resistant to extreme stress. The product contains wheat germ oil, which deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin, along with clary sage and rose essential oils, which include special active components that enhance the effects of the main ingredients.
Doctor's advice: Begin massaging approximately 6 weeks before childbirth. The massage should be performed regularly, at least 3-4 times a week, for 5-10 minutes.
We recommend consulting with your doctor before starting use!
Perform the massage after showering, when your skin is softer and more elastic.
Starting from the 34th week of pregnancy, perform the massage with oil for 5-10 minutes, 3-4 times a week. Before the massage, make sure to complete all hygiene routines and thoroughly wash your hands and nails. Choose the position that allows you to comfortably reach the perineum with your hand: lying down, semi-sitting, or with one leg on a chair.
During the massage, breathe calmly and try to relax your muscles.
Relaxing massage: Warm a small amount of oil in your palms, then apply it with your fingertips to the outer labia and the area between the vagina and anus. Insert your lubricated thumb shallowly (about 2-3 cm) into the vagina, while massaging the perineal area with your index and middle fingers in a clock face motion from 3 to 9 o'clock: first in circular motions, then with a pendulum motion, gradually increasing the pressure for 1 minute.
Stretching massage: Fully insert your thumb into the vagina and, while exhaling, gently stretch the tissue towards the anus.
Repeat this movement to the sides. Next, stretch the tissue down and outwards. You will feel the tissues begin to stretch. These exercises should not cause pain!
Almond oil, wheat germ oil, a mixture of natural essential oils (clary sage, rose).

I didn't buy it from the website, although I buy a lot of Weleda products here. I am very satisfied. I used it for massage for 2 weeks before giving birth. No tears or cracks. I recommend pregnant girls to use it. It definitely won't make things worse. And it can help)))

I had never done massages before, but I decided to use this product during labor. Whether the oil helped or not, I managed to give birth without any tears. It has a strong scent. It's definitely a good addition to have in your arsenal!

I used it during childbirth, and it really works. The oil is fantastic, I highly recommend it. Although it comes in a big liter bottle, there was still plenty left afterwards.

Great oil, I recommend buying and trying it. Be sure to take it with you to the delivery room as some progressive midwives know and know how to use it. I had no tears.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a friend to avoid any tearing. I followed the massage instructions as stated, and I didn't experience any allergies. The scent is pleasant and herbal, it didn't irritate me at all. I was worried about the possibility of tearing, but this oil definitely helped. I highly recommend it, especially considering its affordable price. It's better to try it out than not at all, and it will be beneficial for your childbirth experience. Just remember to breathe correctly and push effectively, and everything will be fine.

I used it during my first pregnancy, and my doula just poured it on me during labor - it helped a lot, there were no tears, and then everything returned to its "normal" state! I highly recommend it to everyone, I'm pregnant again now, and I will definitely buy it.

I did not like the fragrance of this product, as it is very strong and peculiar. In general, I will not try anything from this brand again, as the scent does not suit me at all.
When I used this oil according to the instructions, it started to cause a strong burning sensation.replyDid this review help you? - Translated review★★★★★
I don't know if the oil helped or it was genetics. I followed all the instructions from week 34 and even asked the doctor to use it during childbirth. There were no tears, so if I give birth again, I will definitely use it again. It won't hurt to have it on hand.

Terrible oil, it didn't work for me. I'm not prone to allergic reactions, but this oil made me itch. Very unpleasant. What's more, I tried it twice, with a break in between, and after the second time, the itching returned. Clearly, it excessively dries out the skin.

I used the oil almost every day and followed the instructions to give massages before childbirth. It moisturizes very well, but it didn't prevent tearing, so they had to make an incision.

The oil didn't help me either. I think it all depends on genetics and skin elasticity. The oil has nothing to do with it.
replyDid this review help you? - Translated review★★★★★
The oil did not help. One positive aspect is its natural composition.

I couldn't avoid breakage, even though I diligently did the massage. I believe that the price of the oil is greatly inflated.

"The oil has a pleasant smell and is of high quality. However, it is completely useless and has zero effect. It's a waste of money. I suggest using this money to buy something for your little one. Don't make the same foolish mistakes!"

I would like to share my experience with this oil.
I gave birth in November 2019 without any tears or cuts, but this oil had nothing to do with it!
I only used it a couple of times during my pregnancy (sometimes I forgot, sometimes I was lazy, etc.). I bought it for relaxation purposes.
Therefore, I conclude that the issue is not with the oil, but rather with physiology and the midwife who assists with the delivery.
Now I use this oil for my face and I really like it.replyDid this review help you? - Translated review★★★★★
I started using it more than a month before giving birth, every evening, and after 2 weeks, I tried to use it more often. It tore, although the baby was born at 2920. I think it's physiologically and individually. I give it one star at least for the fact that the natural oil did not harm it.

The product is great. I started using it from week 36. During childbirth, I had to have an episiotomy because the baby was very big and my labor lasted for 22 hours. But there were no tears, and that's a relief. The doctor used this oil during the delivery.

I am satisfied! Perhaps it's due to physiology, or maybe the oil actually helped, or it could be a combination of both, but I managed to avoid stretch marks. I used it starting from the 34th week. I believe that regardless, using the oil makes the skin more elastic.
