The olfactory pyramid of Ted Lapidus Lapidus Pour Homme Eau de Toilette:
Top notes open the multifaceted composition with fresh basil accords, herbaceous lavender nuances, and tart, juicy accents of citrus fruits, organically combined with the coolness of juniper berries. A subtle tone of pineapple and intoxicating artemisia gives the aroma a magical sophistication.
Heart notes intrigue with the coniferous-oriental sound of pine, honey, and incense, complemented with floral overflows of jasmine, rose, iris, and lily of the valley. Cumin and petitgrain complicate the composition with their ambiguity.
Base notes unfold woody-herbal undertones of white cedar, oak moss, and sandalwood, which merge with expensive tobacco hues, creating a masculine and luxurious trail with alluring amber-musky motifs.
I don't know what it smelled like in the accounting department in the 90s, as some people here are mentioning. I wasn't born yet at that time. But the fragrance is absolutely luxurious, and considering the price they ask for it, it's practically a steal. If a similar fragrance was released by Tom Ford or Quentin Bisch, it would be priced around $300-400, and everyone would be ecstatic, making reviews and videos about it. The longevity and sillage of this fragrance truly deserve separate praise. It would be perfect for both avant-garde looks and for indulging in a Balenciaga or Vetements style.
"I really liked it. Thanks to the make-up."
The fragrance turned out to be very impressive. During a blind test, no one would associate it with its price tag. There is no "Soviet", primitive, or mass-market sound to the perfume. There is also no biker brutality, which seems to haunt almost everyone all the time, as if every other person in our country (or in neighboring countries) is a bearded biker wearing a bandana with a skull. Yes, the fragrance is quite masculine, but without going overboard, it is very long-lasting and has a good sillage. The scent is very rich and balsamic. At the beginning, there is a beautiful pine and juniper, lavender and basil. But the top notes fade quickly, within 7-10 minutes. Then comes a rather monotonous heart-base: honey, frankincense, patchouli, rose, sweet tobacco. You will not go unnoticed wearing it, and it won't repel those around you, as the perfume doesn't smell off-putting. The only thing is to be careful with the dosage. Overdoing it will suffocate both yourself and those nearby. Overall, excellent work. Highly recommended for people experienced in perfumery.
This fragrance has a very long-lasting and masculine scent. Its longevity is top-notch, rated 10 out of 10. However, it is not suitable for summertime or warm weather, as it is better suited for cooler temperatures. Additionally, this fragrance is not intended for boys or younger individuals.
It feels as if the spirit of all the great Guerlain perfumers has been infused into the creator of this fragrance. When you apply this scent, it gives the impression that you are wearing a luxurious vintage niche perfume. This creation deserves 100 points, especially considering its affordable price.
Luxurious men's perfume, I ordered it for my husband. It has good longevity and a lingering floral-honey trail, with a subtle hint of expensive tobacco. Thank you very much!
