Cleansing Night Face Cream with Mandelic Acid "Manuka Leaves" Ziaja Purifying Exfoliating Manuka Tree Night Cream

The smell is terrible (in the morning after use, I developed an allergy on half of my face...). Plus, the cream itself doesn't have the same consistency as a night cream, it's very lightweight, more suitable for daytime use.

I can't speak for others, but it doesn't work on dry skin. Overnight, my face becomes dry and flakes appear by morning. I use it as a daytime moisturizer, but even then, it doesn't provide much hydration. The only positive aspect is that it doesn't clog pores, mainly because it doesn't really do anything.

Then I went to read reviews about the cream on other resources and found a detailed analysis of the cream's composition, which positions itself as natural. Now I'm confused. The composition is not entirely natural, and in some places, it's even dangerous. Here's the composition:

"Water is the first ingredient, as it is everywhere. Then we see that 80% of the composition is emulsifiers, which, by the way, are listed at the beginning? Are you serious? How is this supposed to help our already suffering skin? And the question arises, what are they actually combining? Maybe with fragrances? It's good to see that almond acid is at least in the top 10. The next component that might please you is panthenol - it softens and moisturizes, and that's it. You can also notice a few questionable components: isohexadecane - makes the skin velvety, tones it, but doesn't allow it to breathe, exactly what is needed at night! (2nd place in the composition) cyclopentasiloxane - a volatile silicone, without harm or benefit to the skin, contributes to an even distribution of oily substances on the skin. Propylene glycol - a result of the synthesis of petroleum products, and... the MAIN ALLERGEN FOR PEOPLE WITH PROBLEMATIC SKIN (acne, dermatitis, etc.), and it is in 4th place. Linalool - and now ATTENTION, this substance cannot be used when in contact with oxygen (oxidation), as it becomes a dangerous allergen and a trigger for dermatitis."

I bought this cream and manuka peeling solely based on the reviews on the website. However, I started experiencing problems with my skin after using the cream. I immediately noticed redness and the appearance of pimples, even though my skin is oily and not particularly sensitive. I returned the cream and threw away the unused peeling.
