I really liked this balm, but the strong minty effect was a downside for me. It makes my lips tingle a bit and has a taste, but that's just my personal preference. Maybe someone else will like it. However, it always does its job well and I'm used to the minty sensation now. It's a lifesaver in winter, I can't remember the last time my lips cracked with this balm. It lasts a long time, I've been using it for a year now. I also used it in the summer.

The feeling on the lips is very cold... the sensation is mixed. It seems to moisturize well, but that coldness. Somehow, when choosing the lip balm, I didn't read that it had this effect. I won't buy it again, no matter how nice it may be.

I received this as a gift. The scent is unpleasant, similar to vaseline. It feels very cooling on the lips, uncomfortable, and doesn't last for a couple of hours. There is a moisturizing effect, but it doesn't last long, maybe up to five hours. Also, when it almost absorbs into the lips, it slightly tightens them.

I have been using this product for 6 years. It is wonderful if used correctly. It is not an everyday balm, but a healing treatment for cracks, for example. It heals cracks amazingly well. It can also be used before applying makeup, and the effect is great too. I apply it twice a week at night. Specifically, I massage it in, as it should only be used this way. I really love Carmex lip balms. Sometimes I apply it as a mask overnight and in the morning my lips are perfect. The only issue is with the makeup, because I ordered this product twice and received completely different lip balms. Despite ordering the same balm. So, the lip balm gets a 5/5 rating, but the makeup gets a 2/5.

The best thing there is.

I wonder why the manufacturers added Paraffin and Phenol to the composition? Especially in a product that will be absorbed by the body 100%. The second one is toxic to many organs. I threw away my balm because it is not safe. There are plenty of other worthy balms available.

This is a great product. Thanks to this lip balm, I was able to get rid of a long-standing issue of flaky upper lip that other remedies couldn't solve.

In the picture, there is one balm that I received today, but the description is for a different one. This balm is not medicinal, it is just moisturizing - there is no tingling or healing, unfortunately. I really love Carmex and have always used the medicated version. I ordered it based on the description. Please correct the description or the photo, do not mislead people. Well, I will have to use this one, although I was hoping for the medicinal version. For this, I am deducting one star, as I hope that Carmex is still Carmex and even this version of the balm will work fine.

Personally, I didn't really like the balm. It felt like my lips were going numb, and I don't understand how anyone could find such sensations enjoyable. The smell was also unpleasant, like some kind of wax. Oriflame Tender Care Balm, on the other hand, remains a favorite of mine.

I just bought it today, but I already like it. The scent is vanilla, and when you apply the balm on your lips, it gives a pleasant cool sensation. My lips have already started to heal a little.
