Both fans of delicate, sophisticated French manicures and enthusiasts of bold, shimmery polish will surely appreciate the lacquers from the American company Orly, which for over 15 years has been impressing Ukrainian fashionistas with its exceptional quality products and a wide selection of shades.
The richness of the palette delights with its variety: semi-transparent, pearlescent, grainy, textured with large and small decorative sparkles (glitters) - and that's far from a complete list. The number of color shades available is truly eye-opening.
One of the distinguishing features of Orly lacquers is the thin, convenient brush, which easily picks up and distributes the product on the nail. The consistency of the products is just right: not too thick, but not runny, perfect for application. When used in combination with the base coat from the same brand, the polish lasts quite long on the nails.
Orly has lacquers for all of life’s occasions. They can effectively complement a specific style, highlight an individual's originality, and create a festive mood.
Orly lacquers represent unparalleled application quality and the most popular, fashionable, vibrant colors. After trying these products once, you won't even notice how you end up with an entire collection.
-
Before applying the main coat of nail polish, it's essential to first apply a thin base coat to the nail plate. This helps prevent direct contact between your nails and the pigments and other chemicals in the polish. Afterward, apply 1-2 coats of nail polish.

Shade #20936 "Black Cherry". A beautiful and very elegant creamy shade. It applies easily, dries well, and has a wonderful brush. This nail polish has only advantages. You can see for yourself in the photo. It is applied in two layers (one thin, the other thicker). On top, I applied a top coat from Sally Hansen.
Shade #20727. Creamy blue-violet, and under artificial lighting, almost black, it's a beauty. Very comfortable to apply, but not long-lasting at all. A top coat is needed.
Shade #20087. An exquisite and elegant nail polish in the style of "rouge noir." It has great quality - with two coats, it appears glassy. It dries quickly, but it is not very long-lasting. To protect the manicure, a top coat is needed; otherwise, the polish won't last for even a day.
Awful to use nail polish. I don't know how it will wear, but dealing with it is impossible. I had a better opinion of this brand. I'm attaching a photo of the brush for comparison with another nail polish. Orly has a VERY thin and very long brush, it's just like a toothpick. Meanwhile, the polish itself is VERY runny, it all drips off the brush onto the cuticles. When you remove the excess from the cuticles, the polish continues to spread on the wiped areas. It's unbelievable. I will never get it again.
Product Review: "Fowl Play" #40753
"Fowl Play" is a semi-transparent jelly nail polish with a stunning deep blackberry color. It contains an abundance of rich and vibrant ruby and purple flecks, along with a touch of blue shimmer nestled within. Achieving the best results with this polish requires applying at least three thin coats and finishing it off with a high-gloss mirror top coat to enhance its shine and beauty.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to purchase regular nail polish. Orly polishes are top-notch. The colors are amazing. The only downside is that they take a long time to dry even with a top coat. Thank you to the store for the gift and the perfect packaging of the product.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to buy regular nail polish. Orly polishes are top-notch. The colors are fantastic. The only downside is that they take a long time to dry, even with a top coat. Thanks to the store for the gift and perfect packaging of the product.
I decided to revisit the legend of my youth - Orly. Of course, over the past decade, the formula and color palette have changed, for example, Monroe's red is nowhere to be found. But overall, the quality has remained just as good as before.
So I tried risque encounter. The nail polish is quite runny, so it should be applied in a very thin, transparent layer. And only after it has completely dried, apply the next coat. It is worth mentioning that the polish dries fairly quickly under these conditions and becomes opaque. The color in person is exactly like in the photo. I like that it doesn't have a blue undertone.
Shade #20757 "You're Blushing" is a light gray cream color that sometimes reveals a soft lilac undertone when exposed to bright light. Despite its thin texture, it applies effortlessly and dries quickly. It has a beautiful natural shine. With just two coats, it looks absolutely perfect.
The quality is very poor. Cheaper polishes last longer. The brush is thin and very long. But this could be managed. However, the polish does not stay on at all.
Shade #40776 "Miss Conduct". I purchased it from another online store. It's a vibrant raspberry jelly with a dense holographic shimmer. The polish is liquid, but it applies very easily and dries quickly. To intensify the color, it's necessary to apply two coats, but even with just one coat, it looks pretty good. In the photo, the polish is applied with two coats and topped with a reflective top coat.
Not exactly like in the photo at all, I got the mint color.
Shade #20087. An excellent nail polish, unfortunately it's running out and I can't buy it anywhere.
The shade fifty four is a beautiful orange pearl with a hint of pink shimmer, perfect for a summery look.
Shade #40005 "Who's who pink" is a light peachy tone with lilac shimmer inside. It is easy to apply and has a very nice shine. However, the shimmer is hardly visible on the nails, except under very bright light. With two coats, it looks like a gel-like finish and is quite long-lasting.
Room 20801 is completely different from what is shown in the photo.
Shade #20727, "Wild Wisteria". This color is complex, as it changes depending on the lighting, ranging from bright purple to eggplant and from dark blue to almost black. It is easy to apply due to its creamy texture and provides full coverage with just one coat. It dries fairly quickly and has a high gloss finish that is reflective like a mirror. However, it is not long-lasting and can only be worn for a maximum of two days. Therefore, a good top coat is necessary. In the photo, I am wearing two coats without a top coat or drying.
It takes a long time to dry, even with a dryer. And it doesn't stay on, it seems to rub off even on your feet. Money wasted for no reason.
Shade #20087 "Bus stop crimson". A beautiful color of ripe cherry with a raspberry undertone. It looks noble and expensive. Unfortunately, this shade is currently out of stock, and I am running low on it.
I decided to try the shade 20464 purple crush for the spring. I must say, this is the worst nail polish I have ever come across. It applies terribly, the color is dull and becomes even more murky, and it dries horribly. I definitely do not recommend it. I wasted 142 hryvnias on this product, it's going straight into the trash.
The nail polish is good. It lasts for a week and applies smoothly. I chose the shade "Oh Cabana Boy" - it's unique and rare, I haven't seen it anywhere else. I applied it in three layers. The shade "Blushing Bud" on the website appears brighter. In reality, it is a bit darker, but still beautiful in its own way. I'm too lazy to take a photo.
This is the best nail polish I have ever bought!!!!
I am disappointed with this nail polish - I don't understand why it is priced relatively high for such an average quality. Besides the shades, there are no other advantages. After reading the reviews, I am convinced of my own impressions.
After reading the reviews, I decided to order shade 20926. The nail polish is extremely runny, and you have to apply it in three layers, which then do not dry! In addition, it bubbled up like champagne, everything was in bubbles. I am very disappointed. It's a shame because the color is really beautiful, heavenly.
I absolutely love Orly products. The nail polish is vibrant, rich, long-lasting, and I really appreciate the generous size of the bottle. As always, kudos to the MakeUP store for their outstanding work.
I have the shade 20730. It's a very beautiful color. It dries quickly! The only downside is the brush! It's so thin! It's very inconvenient to paint with it! But other than that, everything is great! Thank you to the store! I recommend it!
I have tried several nail polishes from this brand. Currently, I have on my hands the shade 20922 As seen on TV. It is easy to apply and has a lovely spring-summer color that can be chosen according to my mood. Usually, I wear it for about 5 days without any chipping or scratching.
Masked ceremony.
This mascara offers great volume, beautiful density, and comes with a wonderful brush that applies the product evenly. However, the positive aspects end here.
Unfortunately, it starts to clump and flake off after just one day of wear.
Shade #40753 "Fowl Play". A beautiful blackberry nail polish with a colorful shimmer and orange mica particles. It has a jelly texture, very easy to apply, but requires at least three coats for full coverage, as well as a glossy top coat for a shiny manicure. It dries quickly and is quite long-lasting. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery.
Shade #20721 "Star Spangled". Raspberry jelly base with a generous amount of vibrant red shimmer. This nail polish is incredibly elegant and perfect for festive occasions. It provides a dense and voluminous coverage in just two coats, but for extra shine, a mirror top coat is necessary.
Product Review: 20503 - Cherry Bomb is actually a beautiful shade that falls somewhere between red and orange. It applies smoothly and evenly, without any hassle. However, in terms of longevity, it has an average staying power, just like all other Orly nail polishes.
I chose shade 40675 First kiss, hoping for a very natural look. Unfortunately, it applies terribly, leaving streaks. You need to apply 3-4 layers for an even coverage. Although there are other shades available, they seem to be better without any issues.
Shade 20824. The staying power is average, lasts for about four days. Dries quickly.
I really liked the Masked ceremony nail polish. It is very easy to apply, and two coats provide perfect and smooth coverage. I also liked that it dries very quickly! Additionally, this shade has a beautiful glossy finish, despite the amount of silver shimmer (which also sparkles nicely). It has such a glossy effect that it doesn't require any additional top coat at all! In terms of longevity, it performed well and stayed on for several days. It suits me perfectly in terms of all its characteristics. Moreover, it is a wonderful alternative to regular black nail polish!
The nail polish is not bad, it dries quickly, but the brush is too thin. I won't buy it again.
The shade "solid gold" is simply a nightmare. The nail polish chips off within a few hours after application, so I do not recommend it.
I really liked the nail polish. The color matched perfectly and it applied evenly even in the first layer. It is slightly translucent, but there are no streaks at all! It already has a bright blue shimmer, which can be left as is, but I applied three thin layers for opacity. The first two layers dried very quickly, but I had to wait for the third layer. Maybe it will dry faster with a top coat. But it is so beautiful! The look is simply captivating! I ordered 4 more colors! But I can't wait for Royal velvet, Sweet peacock, Glitz-Glamour, and Flow play to become available. I really, really want them! Please, Make Up, expand your range, because you can't buy them in stores. We are counting on you!
This is what 40093 Bubbly Bombshell looks like. You will need a base coat to prevent nail transparency and a top coat to make sure nothing chips off. It is quite vibrant and festive.
The nail polishes are of good quality, they last 3-5 days with a rubber base and Orly top coat. They don't chip, but rather fade at the free edge, which is a plus for me. The colors are fantastic. I will leave a photo, in case someone needs it, because there is a problem with colors here, many do not match. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery.
If you google the shade before purchasing, there won't be any disappointments regarding the color. There are plenty of swatches available online for any shade. It will immediately show the texture and how the nail polish applies. I personally prefer nail polishes with shimmer and glitter.
More photos of item 20925 and 40005.
The colors are very beautiful. I have shade 20925, which is a delicate, light mint green with a glossy finish and no shimmer. It requires at least 2 coats, but it's better to apply three for a longer drying time. The brush is comfortable to use, although it is still a bit liquidy since I just bought it. I also have shade 40005, which is a peach color with a subtle pearl sheen. The color is beautiful, but it definitely needs three coats and tends to have some streaks. Unlike the first nail polish, the brush in this one is very thin and uncomfortable. It's unclear why they decided to make such a brush.
Beautiful color. Dries fairly quickly, but still requires a top coat. 20392 Super Natural.
To achieve an even color, you need to apply multiple layers. The drying process is terrible, and the brush is narrow and uncomfortable to use.
The brush is thin, making it inconvenient to apply. It bubbles and smears when topped with a topcoat. I bought it to try it out, but I won't be getting it again. Cnd Vinylux is much more comfortable and faster to use.
This nail polish is terrible. It doesn't last long and many shades are ridiculously watery, which is unacceptable. I believe the issue lies in it being expired.
Product review: The item with the number 40672 does not match the picture. It has a very pale color, and the brush is thin and uncomfortable to use.
The nail polish 40774 - Devil May Care - is a beautiful combination of red and gold glitter. It has a high concentration of glitter, so even one coat can completely cover the base color, which is represented by the nail polish №20006 Naughty (which requires two coats when used alone). Both polishes are stunning, especially under daylight. The enamel of Naughty resembles a rotten cherry or a venous-blood-like shade, giving it a glass-like appearance.
The nail polishes from this series have different properties and brushes. They don't apply smoothly and evenly. The color Lemonade matches the photo, but it applies poorly. The color Lola does not match the photo at all, in reality, it is a horribly cheap transparent color, like nuclear raspberry. Overall, they are just not good.
Shade "40761 - Skinny Dip". I rarely write negative reviews, but this nail polish is simply awful. It streaks and is sheer, even though I applied two coats, apparently you need to paint at least three. The polish itself is not glossy after drying, but rather satin, even though it was not mentioned anywhere. The durability is poor, it started chipping on the second day, even though I didn't do anything with my hands. I won't be buying it again. The color is beautiful - that's a definite yes!
The worst nail polish ever.
One-day nail polish. Yes, it requires a few layers, but then it dries in an hour.
This is a nightmare for the money I paid. The color doesn't match. It's supposed to be gold, but I ordered pink according to the layout. The brush is small. Don't buy it.
Shade 40005, known as who's who pink, is the perfect nude color. However, there is one drawback - it is quite difficult to apply due to its tendency to streak. I had to repaint my nail three times to achieve a smooth finish.
I bought the shade 40005 Who's Who Pink. This nail polish is absolutely terrible. It streaks, it's runny, and the brush is thin and uncomfortable to use. Overall, it's a complete disappointment.
I have the color 40058 Orly Platinum.
It is a lovely white pearl with a silver hue.
The bottle itself is very beautiful.
The 40044 Ever Burgundy nail polish is very thin, but it applies nicely. Two coats look just right. The brush is very thin, which is inconvenient for me and caused some struggle. However, the rubberized handle of the brush is a good idea.
Unfortunately, the nail polish doesn't last well. After washing dishes once and taking one shower, it started chipping off in pieces. This has never happened to me before, even with cheaper nail polishes that usually last 4-7 days. I understand that I can wear gloves while washing dishes, but what about taking a shower?
If you're looking for a nail polish for a one-day manicure, this one is decent.
In broad daylight, #20006 is simply stunning.
The exquisite #20006 Naughty. Yes, no doubt about it, Orly has the best shades for dark colors. And this particular nail polish proves it. It's a truly dark burgundy shade. It looks more than amazing with just two coats. It has a glass-like appearance when in the sunlight. The technical specifications are top-notch, just like all Orly products.
Color 20938 Blue Suede - "Blue Suede". A very beautiful muted blue.
The creamy polish is thick and provides good coverage with one coat, and perfect coverage with two coats.
In the photos, I used Orly in a Snap base and top coat. The polish itself is more glossy than with this drying agent.
The first coat dries instantly and applies very easily. The second coat dries even faster on top of the first, to the point where it becomes difficult to apply evenly across the entire nail surface. It self-levels and self-smoothes. You can touch up slightly smudged areas by adding a new drop of polish onto the slightly dried coat.
The brush in the full-sized bottle is very convenient, but there is one thing to note: when applying the second coat, it's easy to accidentally touch the first coat near the cuticle. You need to be careful of any gaps and apply the brush more horizontally. I believe with experience, it will be even better.
