The name of the fragrance L’Artisan Mechant Loup translates to “The Big Bad Wolf”. The theme of the wolf's nature is quite common in the names of men's fragrances. L’Artisan also couldn’t overlook this theme. The woody base of the L’Artisan Mechant Loup cologne merges with enchanting oriental notes, resulting in a truly magical scent for men that awakens the inner wolf in its wearers.
Together with the deep notes of myrrh and sandalwood at the heart of the L’Artisan Mechant Loup composition, men gain energy and strength. The initial spicy-woody note is filled with the scent of cedar, forest nut, and aromatic pepper, this mysterious depth awakens the man to become a powerful predator in the arena of his city. So much power and majesty are nevertheless slightly softened by the final honey note of tonka beans and star anise, so that men do not forget that wolves are not only leaders and warriors but also faithful companions of their pack, their family. Their hearts can also hold love.

Lovely scent. Unique and atmospheric. Nutty, honeyed, with a hint of acidity... Everything is very harmonious and intriguing. Thank you!
A very beautiful fragrance! Not at all masculine, I wore it all summer, it's amazing... Very delicate because after some time (for me, around 40 minutes), it settles very close to the skin and only a few can catch this scent. It's not a wolf at all, more like a little wolf cub, a cute puppy. Definitely unisex.
I ordered this perfume for my husband's birthday. I was already familiar with it (with the scent)), and it is undoubtedly rich and very unique. The first impression is unforgettable. However, I cannot help but mention its lack of longevity. After 2 hours, there is practically nothing left, even though niche perfumes are known for their longevity. When applied to the skin, there is a certain straightforwardness, lacking the element of playfulness and mystery. It feels somewhat incomplete... but perhaps this is its charm? Although, after testing it at Brocard, the scent stayed on my hands even after taking a shower and the next day.
If there were more stars, I would add them. I actually went to choose something new for myself and I liked this one, also the Navigator, and in retrospect - all for men! I guess I will overlook prejudices and order it for my beloved on March 8th! The scent is simply unique! Rich, woody, and... it's just indescribable!
