Lancome Hypnose Drama Lash Mascara

I bought this mascara for the second time, hoping that maybe I just didn't understand it the first time... but it didn't impress me. It flakes off, clumps have appeared, and it dries out quickly.

This mascara is great if you're not experienced; it applies beautifully. Even if you're not skilled at applying mascara, it's worth buying. However, the results also depend on your natural lashes since it's still mascara, not false eyelashes!

This is an amazing product! It's simply magical! Once you apply it, it lasts all day without flaking or smudging. It transformed my lashes into beautiful, voluminous ones, just like Ufeya's. I am extremely satisfied!

It was not the mascara itself that disappointed me (it applied nicely to my lashes and looked clump-free and even), but the brush applicator. After a month, it got stuck inside the mascara bottle and I couldn't retrieve it, so I had to throw it away.

The mascara is excellent! It is specifically designed for blondes with a brown-black shade. It is easy to apply, doesn't smudge, and doesn't flake off throughout the day.

I received this mascara as a gift. The experience was terrible - it clumps and sticks all my lashes together. I threw it away immediately. I personally use a mascara that is five times cheaper, and it is a hundred times better than this one. Therefore, when it comes to mascara, price is definitely not an indicator of quality.

This mascara is fantastic! I purchased it in brown. It looks dark, almost black, on the lashes. The color adds softness and depth to the eyes.
It doesn't smudge, even though it's not a waterproof mascara. It easily comes off with a remover, without leaving any streaks or requiring much effort.
It stays on the lashes all day without clumping or flaking, and there are no dark smudges under the eyes.
You can achieve natural, delicate lashes or layer it on for doll-like lashes. However you apply it, your lashes will look great throughout the evening.

I didn't believe that Lancome mascara could be bad, so despite some negative reviews, I bought it. And now I'm also writing a negative review. I'm surprised that it's so bad. My lashes stick together in clumps, there's too much product on the brush, so I have to remove the excess. At some point, I wanted to wash it all off, but since I was in a hurry for an event, I brushed through the still wet lashes with a dry brush from my old mascara. It improved a bit, but still not good enough. I still hope that over time, it will either dry out or I will get used to it. It's a shame to throw it away, it cost a hundred hryvnias after all.

After a long day and an intense workout at the gym, there isn't a single trace of mascara under my eyes. I am pleasantly surprised and have become a huge fan of this mascara. I buy it every fifth time. My lashes are long and luxurious after using it. With regular mascara, I have to spend a long time applying it to achieve this effect. At times, I have used drugstore mascara - it flakes off and irritates my eyes. There is no comparison with this mascara! And what's equally important, it is easy to remove! Thank you to the store for the pleasant discount on it!

The only downside is that it may slightly flake off by the end of the day, but that could be because I had it packaged and stored for a long time, so there might be a catch. I was enticed by the promotion and bought the brown one. When applied in one layer, it feels like there is a kilogram of mascara on each eye, and the lashes stick together into one clump. I have to separate them with a needle or another brush. In fairness, it is worth noting that the mascara does not smudge, it only flakes a little and creates long, albeit very unnatural-looking lashes.

I didn't buy it here, but in duty-free. I didn't like it at all. It colors decently, but the worst part is that it flakes off. I read reviews, and some people have the same issue while others don't. It's unclear why it happens. In my case, it started flaking off within the first week of use!

I absolutely adore this mascara. Nothing else has ever compared, and I've tried many different brands, including luxury ones. Lancome is the best mascara for me, BUT the price... I always used to buy it for my makeup, but now it's as expensive as buying it from a boutique, and the boutique is even cheaper with a discount card. It's such a shame.

I really liked this mascara. It goes on easily and immediately gives a volumizing effect. The color is rich and luxurious. It also has a light and pleasant scent. The only thing is that the brush has a slightly unusual shape. It takes some getting used to.

My natural eyelashes are pretty good, so I rarely have any complaints about mascara, unless it's completely ineffective. I always choose a different one each time, just to have some variety and not get too attached to one brand. I find something cool in each one. For example, Guerlain comes with a mirror and smells really nice. It has a versatile brush that allows me to style my lashes in any way I want. The caramel-scented mascara in a cardboard tube also smells amazing and I think it has nourishing oils because my lashes look more vibrant and healthy. Diorshow, in my opinion, has the coolest blue color that can be adjusted from a dark blue to an ultra-bright electric blue with a thick, very thick, fixing coating, making my lashes look like extensions. The most affordable, high-quality, versatile mascara for all occasions turned out to be everyone's favorite Bourjois Volume Glamour. I often went back to it when I didn't want to spend more. I still can't find a light brown mascara that can blend well with my light brown hair. I tried Hypnose Drama. The brown here is almost black, even with a light application. I stared at the brush for a long time and couldn't understand the meaning of its peculiar shape. I understand curved brushes that curl lashes, I understand thick ones that add volume and fluff up lashes, thin ones that lengthen, silicone ones with bristles that coat and separate each lash. I even understand the spiky brush from Givenchy that can sculpt anything on the lashes with skill. But the mysterious curves of the Hypnose brush reminded me more of the design of the Hypnose perfume bottle (when supposedly an illusion is created that the bottle bends in different directions). So, it seemed to me (of course, I could be wrong) that there is more aesthetic design here than practicality, just a gimmick of the Hypnose series, everything is curved here and there. It applies quite thickly on the lashes, but overall it's not bad, I didn't notice any clumps or flaking, although a couple of black dots did stick to my foundation, and when I tried to remove them carefully, they spread beautifully. I will probably try something new the next time, but I will still use this one without objections. By the way, they delivered the mascara to me very fresh and sealed. I won't repeat about the fast delivery, impeccable super service, and other advantages of the store, because everyone in Ukraine already knows that.

Rating 3, it starts to crumble after a couple of hours of wear. In the evening, it's not too bad, but during the day, the lashes become extremely greasy (you can layer them). The best one is Dior Extase.
