For those who have the problem of "hair like straw" or "too stiff to comb after washing", it is essential to use a conditioner. Preferably, one with silicone in the ingredients. This is because the shampoo cleanses and opens the cuticles of your hair, leaving behind the beneficial substances in the formula (proteins, oils, etc.). All you need to do is seal it with a conditioner. Depending on the level of frizz, choose where the silicone should be placed in the ingredient list. (If you have a lot of frizz, the silicone should be closer to the beginning of the ingredients. And yes, if you don't see "silicone" listed, it doesn't mean it's not there. Chemically, anything that ends with "-cone" will have a similar effect to its main component. If you have less frizz, you can find a conditioner with silicone in the middle or towards the end. The important thing is not to have it listed as one of the last ingredients). It is also essential to use leave-in treatments. Sprays/elixirs/emulsions, and most importantly, OIL!

For those who claim that this shampoo dries out their hair compared to other brands, it is not the shampoo's fault, but rather that you are probably not nourishing them enough. This shampoo does not contain silicones (unlike most other brands), which means it does not have that pronounced "softening" effect... Remember, the purpose of a shampoo is to cleanse, not soften. Any trichologist will tell you that. Therefore, choose individually based on the condition of your scalp and hair.

It did not work for me at all. I bought it because of good reviews, but I was disappointed. The hair is stiff and dry along its length, and it is impossible to comb whether it is wet or dry. By the evening, the roots become greasy (usually, I wash my hair once every three days). It took me two weeks of using products from other brands to restore my hair. I wasted a thousand hryvnias on this (I bought the whole care line).

After almost four years of using Chi, I can confidently say that this cosmetics brand damages hair. I have tried their infra, argan, and keratin products, and all of them eventually dry out the hair. They are only suitable for occasional use, like styling for events, etc. In those cases, the effect is good. However, as a regular hair care option, it is a very bad choice. I don't think I will ever go back to using this brand. Goldwell, on the other hand, is far superior in terms of quality.

I have been using this shampoo after the keratin straightening procedure. It cleanses the hair really well and you only need a small amount because it foams up nicely. The scent is also great and lingers on the hair for a few days.

I have been using the Keratin line (shampoo and conditioner) for several years now. Before that, I tried other lines - Argan Oil (at first it was good, but after a few months, I realized that it dried out my hair) and Infra (it dried out my scalp, causing severe flaking, especially on my temples).

Good day! I would like to write a review about the "amazing" promotions from Makeup. Initially, I wanted to order a set from the L'Oreal company (shampoo, conditioner, spray, and styling oil). During the selection process, I saw an advertisement for a promotion on CHI products. The promotion offered the opportunity to purchase products from the company worth over 900 hryvnias and receive a free liquid silk. Since I had never used products from this brand before, I decided to order the CHI products to try them out and also receive the pleasant bonus of the liquid silk. The total amount of my order was 2465 hryvnias. However, when I received the package, the promised gift was missing, and instead, they included a cream from the "Clean Line" range. The conversation with the manager was also disappointing. It turns out that they didn't include the gift because by the time they processed my order, the gifts had already run out, even though the advertisement was still on their website!!! Moreover, they didn't even bother to call and inform me that the promotion was no longer valid. Dear company, please update the information on your website in a timely manner and do not deceive your customers!

Hello everyone. I decided to write a post-review about popular CHI products: CHI Keratin (shampoo+conditioner+leave-in conditioner+silk), CHI Infra (shampoo+conditioner+silk), CHI Argan Oil (shampoo+conditioner+hair oil). A year and a half ago, I couldn't decide which line would suit me best, and after reading a bunch of comments, I still couldn't find answers to my questions.

A little about my hair for a complete picture: curly, porous, dry scalp, split ends (I have solved this problem), very dry ends (although the problem of dryness remains, they no longer break and visually you can't tell there is such a problem), significant hair loss in the transitional seasons (the problem of hair loss is solved, please note that hair falls out due to lack of vitamins, dry scalp, and constant thermal exposure from a hairdryer and straightener), I live in Odessa and can't live without my straightener due to the humidity (in October and November, I straightened my hair twice a day!), my hair quickly gets used to hair care products (after 3 months, I need to change my hair care line), I used to wash my hair every two days because of dandruff, my hair does not get greasy (if I don't wash it for a long time), now I wash my hair once or twice a week.

In my opinion, CHI Keratin is suitable for oily and normal hair (if you have dry ends, it will also work). For me personally, the shampoo definitely didn't work, my scalp flakes on the third day. I used the hair conditioner as a mask, I could also use it on the roots (applied, wore a cap, wrapped in a towel, waited for 20 minutes and rinsed). The leave-in conditioner didn't work for me at all: my hair became even drier and frizzier, I applied it on damp hair, then applied it on dry hair after blow-drying before straightening, and my hair became sticky. I used the silk after straightening throughout the length to give smoothness, it worked, but I prefer the Infra series.

For dry hair, the shampoo is not suitable, the conditioner is good (it does its main functions well), the leave-in conditioner is not recommended, and the silk is a plus.

CHI Infra is an excellent line to start with when getting to know this brand. I am completely in love with the silk, I apply it on wet hair throughout the length, on damp hair during drying, and after straightening, the result is hair strand by strand, perfectly styled. The shampoo and conditioner worked well for me, my hair is obedient and smooth.

I started my acquaintance with CHI Argan Oil, and it became a salvation for my hair. The shampoo nourishes the hair and moisturizes the scalp, I apply it and massage for about 3 minutes. I recommend applying the conditioner along the length but not on the roots (especially if you have normal skin or tend to be oily), I leave it on for 15-20 minutes. I apply the oil on wet hair before blow-drying and on dry hair on the ends (the oil does not replace the silk). The result is nourished hair and the dryness goes away. If I don't straighten or blow-dry my hair, the curls are structured, one curl after another. Thanks to this line, I fell in love with my curls and can afford not to straighten them.

The smell of these products is wonderful. And most importantly, when using these products, the water for shampooing should be warm, and for rinsing conditioners, it should be cool. I recommend getting samples or testers to determine which one suits you.

About how I got rid of hair problems and what products I use:
1) I solved the problem of dry scalp with a peeling treatment (it removes dead skin, eliminates flaking, and as a result, I can go without washing my hair for a week) - Loreal Professional Serioxyl Scalp Peeling Thinning Hair. At the moment, it is not available, so I ordered Farmavita Amethyste Purify Peeling Mask, but I haven't used it yet, so I can't say anything about it.
2) I use the shampoo, conditioner, and CHI Argan Oil as I mentioned above. I no longer blow-dry my hair. I straighten it less frequently now. I use silk before straightening and after.
3) When my hair gets used to a product (dandruff appears faster, it's my main sign, but it goes away after changing the line), I switch to CHI Infra.
4) During the transitional seasons, I take a month-long course of Medobiotin combined with Aevit, one tablet a day. I also buy a hair growth stimulating shampoo called Minomax, made in Germany. There are cheap Ukrainian alternatives, but they are not effective (unfortunately, it's not available on make-up, so I order it from another website). I alternate it with the CHI line.

In the end, my hair has stopped splitting, and the dryness remains only on the ends. My hair doesn't fall out, and it feels thicker.

I am extremely disappointed with this shampoo. After washing, my hair feels like a sponge and it is impossible to comb through. My brother's wife ordered it from America for herself and said she has never had such problems with her hair. It's really strange. Maybe this is not an original product.
