Hair Color L'Oreal Paris Recital Preference

The shade 6.21 didn't cover the gray hair at all, now it has a violet tint. My short hair hadn't been colored for a year, so the dyeing process was done on its natural color. And now the shade is called Zurich, not Rivoli.

4.0 didn't cover the gray well (4.15 did cover it). However, I might try another one, it's not really my thing.

The product does not cover gray hair as shown in the photo, instead, it turns it a purple color! The color palette is really disappointing. Some parts of my hair turned out as shown in the photo, while others turned a grayish color! This is the first time something like this has happened. I had previously stopped using L'Oréal hair dyes because the color never matched, but I decided to give it another try, hoping for some variety. However, even the conditioner and ease of application did not improve my impression.

This is the only red dye that doesn't fade for 2 weeks. I've been using it for three years now and have completely switched to the balm from the package. I even buy it separately because it's wonderful!

5.25 Antigua: A beautiful cool shade. However, it tends to give off a violet hue. It slightly dries out the hair. I really like the included hair mask.

This paint is amazing! I got the shade Copenhagen, and it's a gorgeous color! Now I'm a fan of it.

The color is superb, it dyes even light chestnut hair flawlessly! :) The only downside is the strong smell of ammonia, but the result is worth it. I would not recommend using the conditioner from the packaging more than 2 times as it is too heavy and makes the hair greasy, but the color is amazing.

I have a warning about this product. Shade 8.1 both lightens and tones the hair, while shade 10.21 only tones without lightening. The shade range is unclear, which is a major downside. Additionally, shade 8.1 has a warning not to use on pre-lightened hair, so when should it be used then? In my opinion, shade 10 should have a stronger lightening effect, but it just adds to the confusion. The dye easily washes off clothes, but it also quickly fades from the hair. The shades are nice, and the dye doesn't significantly damage the hair, but the effect doesn't last long. Considering the price, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

The roots and length were initially lightened with powder. I only use the 10.21 dye for toning. It applies well and I leave it on my hair for about 10 minutes, and I like the color. However, I do not recommend it for dyeing a natural base of levels 6-7-8, as any dye without powder will lift it to a reddish-yellow level 8. If done correctly, I am satisfied with the result. The color matches my expectations. However, the dye works quite aggressively due to its high oxide content. Therefore, I will look for an ammonia-free professional dye and mix it with a lower level of oxide. I will continue using this dye periodically to lift the tone level. I am attaching a photo. The hair is not styled with a brush in it. It's just a light at-home blow-dry of almost dry hair. The color lasts for 2 weeks without using blue masks or toners, etc.

I have been using shade 4.15 for about 3 years. I ordered it again and was very disappointed with the quality of the dye. It used to have a gel-like consistency, but this time it seemed like it was just water (applied to dry hair) as the dye kept dripping. The ammonia smell was very strong. In the past, it was easy to wash the dye off my skin, but this time I couldn't do it without the help of special products. Lastly, the roots of my hair were dyed in a lighter shade than usual. It was a complete disappointment. Next time, I will order from the EU, and if that dye is of similar quality, I will look for another one.

I purchased this hair dye for the first time at the store 6.21. The color is amazing and the quality of the hair lasts for a long time without becoming straw-like. I immediately ordered two packs for my makeup. The major drawback of this dye, in my opinion, is that it is not convenient to divide it in half. I end up dyeing too much of my roots with a whole pack. Some brands have markings indicating 1/2, which is very convenient. Overall, this dye is excellent. I have used different series of L'Oréal, but this one is the best.

This is a wonderful hair dye (shade 3, Brazil). I have been using it for several years. It covers gray hair perfectly, lasts a long time, doesn't wash out easily, hardly fades in the sun, and doesn't cause allergies. I highly recommend it.

I tried using the hair dye in shade 74. Unfortunately, it didn't cover my gray hair at all, even though there was only a small amount. Additionally, the smell was extremely strong and unpleasant. Overall, it was a complete waste of money.

Over the course of the two or three years that I haven't used this hair dye, L'Oreal has significantly improved its quality. The gel dye has a much milder ammonia scent and applies like magic. I only needed half a bottle for my medium length hair. The convenient dye bottle doesn't require squeezing. The only thing I didn't like was the mixed language next to Ukrainian. I bought it from outside the EU, so it reeks of Pushkin's language.

Color 4.13 Paris is a cool dark chestnut. I have been using it for over 10 years, previously I used a darker shade 3.12 Mulen Rouge. Now I am thinking of switching to a lighter shade 6.21 Rivoli.

This hair dye is amazing, you need to wash it off with shampoo 2-3 times, then apply a nice layer of conditioner. Rinse it off thoroughly as well. The hair is shiny, silky, and well-groomed.

As for covering gray hair, it probably depends on the shade. Dark shades 4.13 and 3.12 work perfectly, for lighter shades, read reviews FOR EACH SHADE!

This hair dye is bomb!

I chose shade number 3, a dark brown color from Brazil. It covered almost all of my shoulder-length hair. It was my first time dyeing my hair, and the color turned out sufficiently dark, almost black in the shade but with a reddish tint in the sunlight. The color washes out to a pleasant dark brown. The dye was not very thick, but it did not drip down my neck. The smell of acetone was present, but not overly bothersome, and it quickly fades away. Overall, it gave me the result I wanted, although I'm disappointed that it has become more expensive. I have attached a photo after the dyeing process.

This is terrible, not paint. I bought shade 9.13.
1. It didn't cover any gray hair at all!
2. It was liquid, just dripping everywhere.
3. The gloves only fit children's hands, very tight between the fingers.

I have been using the Rivoli 6.11 hair color for over a year and it suits me well. After dyeing my hair, it is necessary to rinse it well with shampoo because the dye contains oils. I dye my entire hair length every two to three months, and touch up the roots every three weeks. My natural color is dark chestnut, and I have thick hair. The color looks very natural on my hair and has a cool undertone. The dye has a strong scent, like most dyes, but it is not a big issue for me. It also contains a wonderful hair conditioner that lasts a long time.

Wow! Why didn't I try this series before?! The paint has amazing pigmentation, it applies evenly and instantly colors the hair. It has a smooth gel-like texture and spreads excellently. It takes a long time to wash out. As for the smell of the paint - yes, it stinks, it's ammonia-based after all. Don't dye your hair in a closed bathroom, open the door and nearest window for ventilation. It smells like all the others, nothing critical. But it's long-lasting and great. However, it does slightly stain the scalp and you need to diligently scratch and wash it off.
